Biography
Ruben Burgos is a New York City–based actor whose screen work moves through the worlds he knows best: power, loyalty, survival, and the streets where every decision carries a consequence. Across nine credited productions, Burgos has played a lead role in the political film series Bullet to the Ballot, a powerful drug lord in the Brooklyn-filmed web series The Cycle, and cast roles in a run of independent films and series directed by Ray Loot — the horror thriller The Poconos Haunting, the dark psychological thriller The Book of Raven, the urban drama Foster Sin, and Gimme the Loot — alongside The Bush Movie, Let’s Go: A New Vintage Story, and The Grind web series. His performances sit comfortably in gritty urban drama, political and psychological thrillers, and horror, while his October 2026 headshot posts set out the range he is actively pursuing next: commercials, sitcoms, and grounded, emotionally demanding roles in film, television, and theatre. Burgos also brings web-series and music-video experience to set, and is actively seeking auditions and collaborations with directors and creative teams who care deeply about storytelling. Also: Ruben Burgos is a published author and producer (Mr. Dope Chef) — see the other pages on this site.
