Paperback — $30.00 · Crime / Political Thriller (Detective Arbee) · Published February 5, 2025
Boy Ransom is a Detective Arbee thriller. As civil unrest grips New York City and martial law looms, CID Detective Arbee is called back when a young boy is kidnapped — an abduction that proves to be a calculated false-flag operation. With twenty-four hours, an elite team, and a conspiracy reaching the highest levels of government, Arbee races to rescue the boy and stop a city from tearing itself apart.
Burgos writes New York on the edge with a journalist’s precision and a poet’s pulse. Relentless in pace and rich in moral tension, Boy Ransom is both a rescue mission and an indictment of those who would manufacture chaos for power. Every hour narrows the margin between a child saved and a city lost.
